Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hotel Sales Executive/Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by securing new business, maintaining client relationships, and maximising sales opportunities for our hotel. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to promote our hotel’s services to corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Business Development:

Identify and pursue new sales leads through market research, networking, and cold calling.

Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets.

Conduct sales presentations and site inspections for potential clients.

- Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other key stakeholders.

Handle inquiries, negotiate contracts, and close deals to secure bookings for rooms, meetings, and events.

Provide excellent customer service to ensure repeat business.

- Revenue Generation:

Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets for room bookings, banquet events, and group reservations.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional packages and campaigns.

Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

- Administrative & Reporting:





Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system.

Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts for management.

Attend sales meetings, trade shows, and industry events as required.

- Property Show down whenever guests visits, offering water tea etc, noting information and sending quotations, guessing guests needs and offering as per.
- Identifying Potential Clients

Research and generate leads (corporate firms, travel agencies, event planners, wedding organisers, etc.).

Use databases, referrals, social media (LinkedIn, industry networks), and cold calling.

Focus on high-value clients (long-stay corporate guests, MICE groups, tour operators).

- Planning Client Visits

Schedule appointments in advance to ensure key decision-makers are available.

Prepare a sales kit (brochures, rate cards, banquet menus, testimonials, virtual tours).

Customise pitches based on client needs (e.g., discounts for bulk bookings, added perks for corporate clients).

- Conducting the Sales Visit a) Building Rapport

Introduce yourself and the hotel’s unique selling points (location, amenities, services).

Ask questions to understand the client’s needs (e.g., room requirements, event space, budget).

b) Presentation & Demonstration

Showcase hotel facilities (show rooms, banquet halls, restaurants) if possible.





Highlight competitive advantages (free Wi-Fi, meeting packages, loyalty benefits).

Offer site inspections for event planners or corporate bookers.

c) Handling Objections

Address concerns (pricing, location, competition) with solutions:

"Our rates include breakfast and airport transfers."

"We can block rooms at a discounted group rate."

- Closing the Deal

Negotiate terms (rates, cancellation policies, added value services).

Send a follow-up proposal immediately after the meeting with personalised offers.

Urgency tactics: "This corporate discount is valid only until [date]."

- Post-Visit Follow-Up

Call/email within 24–48 hours to confirm interest.

Offer incentives (complimentary upgrades, welcome drinks) for quick decisions.

Use a CRM system to track interactions and set reminders for follow-ups.

- Conversion & Booking Confirmation

Secure signed contracts or advance payments.

Coordinate with front office/reservations to ensure smooth booking processing.

Maintain relationships for repeat business (e.g., thank-you notes, loyalty discounts).

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

Experience: Minimum 04 years in hotel sales, hospitality, or a similar B2B sales role.

Skills

- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Opera, Salesforce) and MS Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
