Responsible for month-end close activities, journal entries, payroll accounting, GL controls, lease accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, MIS reporting, variance analysis, and balance sheet schedule preparation.

Location - Mumbai

Shift - 13:00 to 22:00 (WFO)

Key Responsibilities:

- Support month-end close and financial reporting activities.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, payroll accounting entries, and invoices.
- Perform daily GL control checks and account reconciliations.
- Manage lease accounting schedules and related adjustments.
- Prepare MIS reports with variance analysis and commentary.
- Coordinate with business, tax, and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and timely issue escalation.
- Prepare balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation.

Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 3+ years of accounting/financial reporting experience (4+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
- Working knowledge of Indian GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
- Knowledge of GST compliance and reporting.
- Robust analytical, reconciliation, and stakeholder management skills.
