Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for a Government Tender Specialist – Pharma. The specialist will be responsible for identifying, tracking, and evaluating relevant government tenders at central, state, and local levels, particularly on government e-procurement portals.

Daily tasks include preparing tender documents, compiling technical and commercial bids, coordinating with internal teams for pricing, product data, and certifications, and ensuring timely submission of all tender-related documentation. The role involves maintaining tender calendars, updating management on tender status, managing post-tender follow-ups, and supporting contract execution and compliance requirements. The specialist will also liaise with government departments and public sector entities, maintain accurate records,



and ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

- Strong Government Relations skills, including experience working with Local Government bodies and Public Sector organizations.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordination with authorities, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Robust Analytical Skills to interpret tender requirements, assess eligibility, compare bid terms, and support decision-making.
- Hands-on expertise with government tender portals and e-procurement systems, including tender search, bid submission, and documentation uploads.
- 4–6 years of specific experience handling pharma tenders, including technical and commercial bid preparation in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Solid documentation, record-keeping, and compliance skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously, prioritize deadlines, and work efficiently under time pressure.
- Graduate degree in Pharmacy, Business, or a related field; an MBA or specialized certification in procurement or public sector contracting is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of pharma regulatory norms, pricing structures, and tender-related legal and contractual clauses.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with online tender management tools.
