- Strong BigQuery and Data Warehousing experience
- Data Modeling concepts and hands-on implementation
- Hands-on Apache Spark / Spark Jobs
- Airflow – DAG development and workflow orchestration
- Experience building end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Performance optimization – Spark jobs and BigQuery queries
- Data Quality & Troubleshooting – production pipeline monitoring and issue resolution

Good to Have / Advantage

- GCP – Team primarily works on GCP; exposure to BigQuery, Dataproc, and GCS is preferred
- Apache Iceberg
- Hands-on Hive Iceberg migration
- Medallion Architecture – Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers
- PySpark
- Partitioning & Clustering – BigQuery/Spark
- CI/CD & Git




- Monitoring & Logging – Airflow/Spark
