We are hiring for a senior technology leadership role to head the Global IT Development function. The role will lead application development, enhancement, project delivery and production maintenance for business-critical applications, with solid ownership of delivery, stakeholders and team leadership.

Location: Chennai

Your Future Employer:

A financial services organisation with a strong presence in India through its Global Capability Centre, delivering banking operations and IT services to business functions.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead application development, enhancement and end-to-end delivery initiatives.
2. Manage project planning, estimation, resources, delivery tracking and reporting.
3. Oversee 2nd/3rd level production support and application maintenance.
4. Drive technical direction across design, development, testing and releases.
5. Manage senior stakeholders across business, technology and global teams.
6. Build high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement in delivery and operational stability.

Requirements:

1. 15+ years of experience in application development and IT delivery.
2. Strong project management and leadership experience in complex or regulated environments.
3. Proven experience managing multi-skilled development and maintenance teams.
4. Financial services experience is mandatory; banking experience is preferred.
5. Strong exposure to production support,



incident/problem management and business-critical applications.
6. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, SDLC and IT governance skills.
