Leadership Hiring | Head Procurement | Diagnostic Lab - Bangalore
- Hiring - Head Procurement with deep expertise in sourcing critical genomics laboratory consumables, including reagents, assays, sequencing panels, DNA/RNA extraction kits, library preparation kits, and flow cells used in high-throughput sequencing workflows.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with global and domestic suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply, optimal cost, and quality.
- Drive procurement excellence through inventory optimization, demand planning, and just-in-time (JIT) procurement models.
Desired Profile:
- Minimum 10 years of procurement experience in the life sciences, genomics, or diagnostics industry, with a proven track record in strategic sourcing and cost optimization.
- Hands-on experience in procuring for a Genomics / Oncology laboratory is mandatory.
- Strong familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, or Zoho, along with demand planning and inventory management systems.
- Proven experience managing JIT procurement models in a quick-paced R&D; or clinical laboratory environment.
- Good understanding of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows, including DNA/RNA extraction, library preparation, target enrichment, sequencing platforms, and automated liquid handling systems.
