1. Customer Focus and Guest Experience:
● Always demonstrate sincere customer focus and true appreciation for the guest experience. ● Familiarize and comply with the retreat’s overall vision and standards, thereby facilitating superlative guest experiences.
● Respond to guests’ needs and feedback mindfully, ensuring guests receive professional, efficient,
prompt, and wholehearted service.
● Handle any guest complaints or special requirements.
1. Wellness Program Development:
● Develop and maintain an adequate professional product program. ● Ensure consistent Som experience development to ensure that innovation and uniqueness are maintained.
● Curate and promote different wellness programs.
● Curate exceptionally soulful pathways experiences and constantly make necessary changes in accordance with the wellbeing theme and brand standards.
● Be aware of the ancient practices of Ayurveda, yoga, meditation, and Sattvic nutrition, with nature expeditions and experiences.
● Integrate various holistic and metaphysical energy healing techniques such as Reiki, sound healing, art therapy, color therapy, crystal/gemstone healing, therapeutic/medical/Ashtanga yoga, and meditation into wellness programs
● Develop SOPs.
1. Revenue Management and Strategy:
● Implement and monitor upselling strategies to maximize Som revenue. ● Maximize the revenue and wholehearted guest experience potential, with a balanced focus on all aspects of pathways.
● Manage preopening operations to ensure successful launch and revenue generation.
1. Client and Market Analysis:
● Analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer appropriate solutions, options, and resolutions. ● Identify and target specific market segments for potential corporate clientele to promote Som services.
● Manage the sales and marketing plans for Som and the pathways by recommending growth efforts,
monitoring progress, and ensuring that the brand is competitively positioned within the local marketplace.
1. Quality Control and Standards:
● Develop strong product quality and treatment measures. ● Responsible for the quality of meaningful wholehearted service, meeting or exceeding financial goals,
and short and long term planning for day-to-day operations.
● Ensure the Standard Operating Procedures implementation in the department and facilitate routine operational checks.
● Achieve high performance and operational standards.
1. Training and Development:
● Responsible for the departmental training plan and conduct hands on training for current recruitment. ● Mentor and develop the team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
1. Operational and Financial Management:
● Overall responsibilities for Retreat Pathway Revenue, Guest Experiences Curation, Strategies, and Pathway services.
● Work closely with the Operations team for a seamless Som experience at the retreat.
● Handle reporting and Management Information Systems (MIS) on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis as required by internal regulations.
1. Specialized Ayurvedic and Wellness Expertise:
● Provide consultations and treatments in Ayurveda. ● Conduct psychological counselling and stress management sessions.
● Perform Panchakarma treatments (Kerala Panchakarma), Ayurvedic diet & nutrition consultations, Naadi
Pareeksha (Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis), and manage joint & bone health, gut health, and Swastha Vritha
(Ayurvedic preventive medicine & wellness).
● Offer Tibetan traditional treatments, Som therapies, manage metabolic disorders, and conduct mindfulness consultation & sessions.
● Conduct energy healing consultations & sessions, Ashtanga Yoga, therapeutic yoga & pranayama
(breathwork), and meditation sessions.
