Company Description: Mobilab is building next-generation portable IVD diagnostic devices that make high-quality blood testing more accessible. We’re looking for a Head of Operations to own the entire operations function — manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and field service — and to build the systems and team that let us scale from hundreds of devices to thousands.

What You’ll Do

• Production Planning: Plan and monitor production schedules with procurement, R&D;, and quality teams.

- Manufacturing & Capacity:

Set production strategy, make-vs-buy decisions, and scale assembly and testing lines.

• Inventory Management: Own stock levels, material issue, BOM tracking, cycle counts, and shortage escalation.

• Dispatch & Logistics: Drive on-time dispatch, installation, and after-sales service for devices in the field.

• KPIs & Continuous Improvement: Track throughput, yield, turnaround time, and service SLAs — and act on the gaps.

• Quality & Compliance: Maintain documentation aligned with ISO 13485 / QMS, including device history records.

• Audit Readiness: Support regulatory and audit preparedness across CDSCO, ISO 13485, and ISO 9001.

• Team Leadership: S tructure,



and mentor the team across planning, stores, production, and quality.

- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve planning and reporting

We’re Looking For

- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering; MBA in Operations is a plus
- 8+ years in operations, with 3+ in a leadership role in medical devices or electronics
- Proven ownership of manufacturing, supply chain, and quality as a single function
- Strong command of ISO 13485 / QMS, CDSCO or equivalent frameworks, and audits
- Track record of scaling production volumes and building operations teams from a small base
- Startup or high-growth experience — comfortable being strategic and on the shop floor
