About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Head of Operations – Fabrics to manage end-to-end fabric operations across knits and woven fabrics, including sourcing, development, production, quality, costing, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle fabric merchandising activities including development, follow-ups, approvals, and coordination with suppliers and internal teams.

- Coordinate fabric development, sampling, lab dips, strike-offs, and approvals as per buyer requirements.

- Coordinate with mills and suppliers for pricing, quality, lead times, and deliveries.

- Monitor bulk production, testing, and fabric availability to meet production timelines.

- Ensure fabric quality parameters and buyer standards are maintained.

- Support cost negotiations and vendor management for effective fabric procurement.

- Maintain fabric records, approvals, and related documentation accurately.

- Work closely with production, planning, and design teams for smooth execution.

Key Skills & Competencies





- Graduate/Diploma in Textile Technology or related field.

- Strong experience in fabric operations, sourcing, merchandising, or production. (Min 5yrs+)

- Excellent knowledge of knits and woven fabrics, textile processing, dyeing, and finishing.

- Robust negotiation, vendor management, and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of fabric costing, production planning, and quality management.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
