Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Head – Finance & Accounts to lead and manage the organisation's complete Finance & Accounts function. The role will be responsible for financial planning, accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, audits, budgeting, cash flow, MIS, internal controls and providing strategic financial guidance to management.

Key Responsibilities: Finance & Accounting

- Lead and oversee the complete Finance & Accounts Department.
- Review and supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, General Ledger, bank reconciliation, fixed assets and inventory accounting.
- Review and finalize monthly, quarterly and annual Trial Balance, P&L;, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements.
- Ensure timely monthly and year-end closing of accounts.
- Monitor profitability, working capital, receivables, payables and overall financial performance.

Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, PF, ESIC, ROC/MCA and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Review statutory workings, returns, payments and reconciliations before submission.
- Ensure proper maintenance of statutory records and documentation.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, Tax Consultants and other professional advisors.
- Monitor changes in applicable tax and regulatory requirements and ensure necessary implementation.

Audit

- Lead and coordinate Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Internal Audit and other financial audits.
- Act as the primary contact for auditors and external consultants.




- Review audit schedules, financial statements and supporting documentation.
- Ensure timely resolution and closure of audit queries and observations.
- Strengthen internal controls based on audit findings and recommendations.
- MIS, Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare and review MIS reports, management reports and financial analysis.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and budget vs. actual analysis.
- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for business decisions.

Team & Process Management

- Lead, mentor and supervise the Finance & Accounts team.
- Establish and improve accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Ensure proper segregation of duties and financial discipline within the department.
- Drive process improvements and automation in Finance & Accounts.

Qualification & Experience

- B.Com / M.Com / CA / CMA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
- 12+ years of relevant experience, preferably with experience as Finance Head / Finance Manager / HOD.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, financial reporting and statutory compliance.
- Strong experience in audit, budgeting, cash flow and working capital management.
- Excellent knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per month
