Role Description The Head – Legal will lead and manage all legal activities for Stemz Healthcare, ensuring robust legal governance across the organization. This full-time, on-site role is based in Gurugram and includes overseeing legal strategy, advising leadership on legal risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all operational jurisdictions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements; managing legal documentation; and providing guidance on corporate, commercial, regulatory, employment, and data protection matters. The Head – Legal will handle dispute resolution and litigation coordination with external counsel, implement policies and processes to mitigate legal risk, and keep stakeholders updated on regulatory changes affecting healthcare and technology-enabled services. The role also involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, supporting expansion into new markets, and promoting an ethical, compliant culture aligned with Stemz Healthcare’s values.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Demonstrated expertise in Legal Compliance, including healthcare,



data protection, corporate, and employment regulations.
- Experience in Legal Consulting, providing strategic legal advice to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, policies, and agreements.
- Proven capability in managing complex Legal Issues, such as disputes, investigations, and cross-border regulatory matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; LLM or additional specialization in corporate or healthcare law is an advantage.
- Several years of progressive experience in a senior legal role, preferably within healthcare, technology, or highly regulated industries.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to present transparent, practical guidance to non-legal stakeholders.
- Experience working with external counsel and regulatory bodies, and managing litigation or arbitration processes.
- High ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to work on-site in Gurugram in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
