Role & responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organizations Health, Safety, and Setting (HSE) strategy, policies, and management systems.

- Provide leadership and direction to ensure that HSE objectives are aligned with corporate goals.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, national, and international health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and standards.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

- Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies during audits, inspections, and reporting.

- Identify, assess, and control potential HSE risks within operations, projects, and facilities.

- Oversee the development and implementation of risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) programs.





- Ensure effective incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.

- Conduct regular reviews and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of HSE systems and performance.

Supporting Action

- Develop and communicate the organization’s HSE vision, objectives, and targets.

- Prepare annual HSE plans and budgets in line with corporate goals.

- Lead HSE meetings and promote safety culture through leadership visibility.

- Maintain a register of applicable HSE laws, regulations, and standards.

- Maintain documentation and evidence for certification and external audits.
