Role Purpose The Corporate EHS Lead, based at HO, will lead the EHS agenda across all three manufacturing locations by strengthening safety processes, improving plant safety maturity and culture, and driving environmental compliance and improvement programs. The role will work closely with plant safety leads and site leadership to prepare site-wise safety roadmaps, lead injury / accident investigations, build practical risk control programs and support safety and environmental CAPEX planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

EHS Governance and Multi-site Safety Leadership

- Lead a common EHS governance framework for all three manufacturing locations with clear standards, review cadence and action tracking.
- Drive implementation of safety processes, systems, SOPs and management routines across plants in alignment with legal and business requirements.
- Partner with Plant Heads and plant safety leads to strengthen ownership of safety performance, risk closure and compliance discipline.
- Prepare and review site-wise annual and medium-term EHS improvement roadmaps with prioritized actions, timelines and responsibilities.

Safety Culture and Maturity Improvement

- Improve safety maturity and culture through leadership engagement, safety walks, toolbox talks, near-miss reporting, unsafe act / unsafe condition reporting and employee participation programs.
- Drive behaviour-based safety, contractor safety, permit-to-work discipline and high-risk activity controls at plant level.
- Build supervisor and frontline capability through structured training, coaching, audits and periodic feedback to site teams.

Risk Assessment, Process Safety and Critical Controls

- Facilitate and standardize HIRA, HAZOP, HAZAN, JSA and risk matrix-based assessments for operations, utilities, projects, maintenance and high-risk activities.
- Ensure risk registers are maintained, high-risk gaps are prioritized and critical controls are implemented, verified and periodically reviewed.
- Support risk assessments for ammonia / refrigeration systems, boilers, pressure vessels, electrical systems, machine guarding, work at height, confined space, hot work, chemical handling and material movement.

Incident Investigation and CAPA Management

- Lead or co-lead investigations related to injury, accident, near miss, property damage,



unsafe events and environmental incidents along with plant safety lead and site team.
- Use structured root-cause analysis methods to identify immediate, underlying and systemic causes and convert findings into effective CAPA.
- Track CAPA closure, verify effectiveness and share cross-site learnings to prevent recurrence across locations.

Safety and Environmental CAPEX Planning

- Help site teams prepare safety and environmental CAPEX proposals based on risk ranking, legal compliance, audit findings and business continuity needs.
- Develop business justification, technical requirements and implementation plans for safety engineering controls and environmental compliance investments.
- Monitor execution of approved EHS CAPEX and verify that risk reduction and compliance objectives are achieved after implementation.

Environmental Compliance and Improvement Programs

- Drive environmental compliance programs covering consent conditions, ETP / STP performance, emissions, hazardous waste, chemical storage, spill prevention, water and energy conservation and statutory reporting support.
- Work with plant teams for timely closure of environmental audit observations, regulatory inspection points and compliance action plans.
- Identify opportunities for waste reduction, resource conservation, pollution prevention and sustainability-linked manufacturing improvements.

Employee Health, Occupational Hygiene and Emergency Preparedness

- Drive employee health programs including occupational health surveillance, medical check-up coordination, hygiene controls, first-aid readiness and wellness initiatives.
- Strengthen emergency preparedness for fire, ammonia leak, chemical spill, ETP failure, medical emergency, evacuation and other site-specific scenarios.
- Ensure periodic mock drills, emergency response training and corrective action closure from drill observations.

Key Experience / Skillset

- Solid understanding of manufacturing EHS systems,



statutory safety requirements, environmental compliance and practical shop-floor risk control.
- Hands-on experience in HIRA, HAZOP, HAZAN, JSA, risk matrix, permit-to-work, LOTO, machine safety, electrical safety, fire safety, contractor safety and emergency preparedness.
- Ability to work with plant teams and convert safety risks, audit findings and compliance gaps into clear roadmaps, CAPEX proposals and action plans.
- Strong capability in incident investigation, root-cause analysis, CAPA effectiveness review and cross-site learning deployment.
- Good working knowledge of environmental controls including ETP / STP, hazardous waste, emissions, spill prevention, chemical storage and consent compliance.
- Effective stakeholder management, training, communication and influencing skills to drive closure without direct reporting authority.

- Continuous improvement mindset to strengthen safety systems, compliance governance, training, dashboards and EHS maturity.

Desired Role Level

- Current Designation: At Manager / Senior Manager & above level Corporate EHS
- The role will be based at Head Office and will support EHS activities across all company locations.
- The person will work closely with Plant EHS/Safety Teams and Plant Heads.
- Responsible for monitoring EHS performance, identifying major risks and ensuring corrective actions.
- Will review important safety and environmental issues and escalate critical matters to senior management.
- Will support management in identifying and recommending EHS-related CAPEX and improvement projects across plants.
