Job Purpose:

Lead the Finance & Accounts function by defining financial strategy, governance, and control frameworks, ensuring effective financial planning, accounting, treasury, taxation, and commercial support to enable sustainable growth, project delivery, and commercialization of the clean energy business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement financial strategies, governance frameworks, and operating policies aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management to support project development, capital investments, and business operations.
- Establish accounting policies, financial controls, and reporting frameworks to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Lead project finance, capital expenditure governance, and financial evaluation of pilot, expansion, and commercial-scale projects.
- Drive treasury, cash flow, working capital, and banking strategies to maintain financial stability and optimize capital utilization.
- Lead taxation, statutory compliance, audits, and financial reporting to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management.
- Establish commercial governance for procurement, contracts, investment proposals, and business transactions from a financial perspective.
- Drive financial analysis, cost optimization, and business performance reviews to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.




- Lead the development of financial systems, digital reporting, and process improvements to strengthen financial governance and business insights.
- Partner with Engineering, Projects, Procurement, Operations, and Business Development teams to provide financial support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and strengthen internal control mechanisms across the organization.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team by building functional capability, driving performance, and establishing a culture of governance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CMA), or MBA (Finance) preferred.
- 20 years of experience in Finance & Accounts within energy, oil & gas, mining, infrastructure, manufacturing, process industries, or large capital-intensive businesses.
- Solid knowledge of financial planning, accounting, treasury, taxation, project finance, commercial finance, and financial governance.
- Experience in capital project evaluation, investment analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of ERP systems, financial controls, audit management, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong commercial acumen, leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic decision-making skills.
