A reputed Catering Company in Kuwait is looking for an experienced Head Chef CD&T; to lead culinary development, menu planning, recipe standardization, chef training, and large-scale food production operations.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in catering, central kitchen, bulk food production, menu development, food costing, quality control, and culinary team training.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead culinary development and food production activities.
- Develop and standardize recipes, menus, portion sizes, and cooking procedures.
- Conduct recipe trials, food tastings, and new product development.
- Train and develop Chefs, CDPs, Commis Chefs, and kitchen staff.
- Establish and maintain culinary SOPs and production standards.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Oversee bulk food production and central kitchen operations.
- Monitor food cost, wastage, yield, and raw material utilization.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, QA/QC, and Operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.




- Conduct kitchen/production inspections and implement corrective actions.
- Support new menu launches, special events, and catering projects.
- Lead and motivate the culinary team to achieve operational targets.

Candidate Profile
- 8–12+ years of relevant culinary experience.
- Experience as Head Chef / Executive Chef / Senior Sous Chef / Culinary Manager / Corporate Chef.
- Strong experience in large-scale catering, industrial catering, institutional catering, central kitchen, or food production.
- Proven experience in menu development and recipe standardization.
- Strong experience in chef training and culinary development.
- Good knowledge of food costing, portion control, yield management, and wastage control.
- Solid knowledge of HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation.
- Excellent leadership and team-management skills.
- GCC/Kuwait catering experience preferred.
- Culinary Arts / Hotel Management qualification preferred.
