About the Role

We are seeking experienced Hardware Validation professionals across Engineer and Manager levels to manage and execute the testing lifecycle of surveillance recording hardware, including NVR/DVR units, PoE switches, SMPS power supplies, storage subsystems (HDD/SSD), and CCTV accessories.

Responsibilities

- Track 1: Engineer Level Key Responsibilities (3–5 Years Exp)
- Hardware Validation: Execute functional, electrical, and system-level validation of NVR hardware, PoE switches, SMPS, and storage subsystems.
- Electrical & Power Testing: Measure output voltage, load regulation, power efficiency, ripple, protection circuits, and overall power consumption.
- Thermal & Environmental Stress: Perform thermal cycling, burn-in, temperature/humidity, and environmental stress testing.
- Storage & Interface Testing: Test HDD/SSD compatibility, read/write performance, recording stability, recovery, and interfaces (SATA, USB, HDMI, Ethernet, PoE 802.3af/at/bt).
- Lab Instrumentation & RCA: Operate oscilloscopes, electronic loads, power analyzers, multimeters, and thermal chambers to log defects, isolate faults, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Compliance & Automation: Support pre-compliance testing (EMI/EMC, ESD, surge, safety) and develop test automation scripts.

- Track 2: Manager Level Key Responsibilities (10+ Years Exp)
- Test Strategy & Lifecycle Management: Define comprehensive validation strategies covering functional, electrical, thermal, environmental, reliability, and system-level testing for enterprise NVRs and accessories.
- Reliability Engineering: Establish and oversee HALT/HASS, burn-in, endurance, and long-duration reliability testing.




- Hardware Qualification: Review and validate schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, component specifications, and test reports.
- Compliance & Certifications: Lead validation workflows for STQC, BIS, CE, FCC, RoHS, EMI/EMC, and safety certifications.
- OEM/ODM & Quality Governance: Manage OEM/ODM technical evaluation, sample qualification, alternate component validation, and drive CAPA for validation and field failures.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and allocate work across the hardware engineering/testing team while interfacing with R&D;, Firmware, QA, and Product teams.

Qualifications

- Education Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. (EEE / ECE), M.Sc (Electronics), or Diploma (EEE / ECE)
- Experience Range: 3 to 10+ Years (Hiring across Individual Contributor and Managerial tracks)

Required Skills

- 3 to 10+ years of hardware validation, testing, or reliability engineering experience in CCTV, NVR, PoE switches, power electronics, or embedded systems.
- Hands-on proficiency with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, thermal chambers, and network analyzers.
- Strong knowledge of digital/analog electronics, SMPS, protection circuits, PoE (802.3af/at/bt), and storage technologies.
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC, ESD, surge, and environmental reliability testing.
- Knowledge of STQC, BIS, CE, FCC, and RoHS standards (mandatory for Managerial levels).
