Specialist - Program & Project Management Job Title Hardware Assessment Manager Job Summary The Hardware Assessment Manager is responsible for assessing managing and optimizing the lifecycle of enterprise hardware assets across the organization The role focuses on hardware inventory assessment lifecycle management refresh planning compliance capacity analysis cost optimization and governance The individual will work closely with infrastructure procurement operations vendors and business stakeholders to ensure hardware assets are effectively utilized compliant and aligned with business requirements Key Responsibilities Hardware Assessment Planning Conduct periodic assessments of servers storage network devices enduser computing assets and peripherals Identify EndofLife EOL and EndofSupport EOS hardware and recommend refresh strategies Analyze hardware utilization performance capacity and availability trends Develop hardware lifecycle and technology refresh roadmaps Assess infrastructure risks related to aging or unsupported hardware Asset Lifecycle Management Manage hardware assets from procurement through retirement Maintain accurate asset inventory and CMDB records Oversee asset onboarding deployment relocation and disposal processes Ensure proper asset tagging tracking and ownership documentation Hi Team IAnyone hav Viva Engage SUPPIT Ant Process PDF Governance Compliance Monitor hardware asset compliance with enterprise policies and standards Support internal and external audits Drive data quality improvements within asset management systems Establish and monitor asset management KPIs and reporting dashboards Vendor Financial Management Coordinate with OEMs suppliers and procurement teams Track warranties maintenance contracts and support renewals Support budget planning and hardware investment recommendations Identify opportunities for cost optimization and asset rationalization Process Improvement Automation Drive process transformation initiatives within hardware asset management Identify opportunities to automate asset tracking and lifecycle management Improve operational efficiency through tool integration and workflow optimization Support implementation of ITAMHAM solutions such as ServiceNow and CMDB integrations Reporting Stakeholder Management Present assessment findings and recommendations to leadership Provide regular reports on asset health lifecycle status compliance and refresh requirements Collaborate with infrastructure cloud security procurement and finance teams Lead governance reviews and asset management meetings Required Skills Strong knowledge of Hardware Asset Management HAM and IT Asset Management ITAM Understanding of server storage network cloud and enduser computing infrastructure Experience with CMDB ServiceNow ITAMHAM SCCM Intune or similar tools Knowledge of hardware lifecycle management capacity planning and asset governance Robust analytical and reporting skills Experience with Excel Power BI and asset management dashboards Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills Qualifications Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or related field 712 years of overall IT experience with 3 years in asset management infrastructure management or hardware assessment roles Experience managing enterprisescale hardware environments Preferred Certifications ITIL Foundation ServiceNow IT Asset Management Certification Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional CHAMP ISO 19770 Asset Management Certification preferred Key Success Metrics Asset inventory accuracy EOLEOS remediation compliance Hardware utilization optimization Asset audit compliance score Cost savings from asset rationalization Refresh program execution success CMDB data quality and accuracy
