Job Purpose To provide excellent guest service, ensure smooth restaurant operations, and maintain the service, hygiene, and quality standards of Rameshwaram Cafe.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and greet guests in a polite and professional manner.

- Assist guests with seating and provide menus when required.

- Take guest orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/counter team.

- Serve food and beverages as per the restaurant's service standards.

- Ensure tables are clean, properly arranged, and ready for guests.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining and service areas.

- Follow proper sequence of service and guest interaction standards.

- Attend to guest requests promptly and escalate complaints to the Captain/Supervisor.

- Coordinate with the kitchen, cashier, and service team for smooth operations.

- Ensure correct food presentation and timely service.

- Clear used plates, glasses, and cutlery efficiently.

- Follow all food safety, personal hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards.

- Support opening and closing duties as assigned.

- Maintain proper handling of restaurant equipment and avoid wastage.

- Follow all company SOPs, policies, and operational instructions.

- Actively contribute to achieving guest satisfaction and restaurant targets.

Guest Service Standards

- Always greet guests with a smile and maintain a positive attitude.

- Communicate respectfully and professionally with guests and colleagues.

- Listen carefully to guest requirements and provide appropriate assistance.





- Ensure orders are served accurately and on time.

- Never argue with guests; escalate concerns to the concerned supervisor.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.

Hygiene & Grooming Standards

- Wear the complete prescribed Rameshwaram Cafe uniform while on duty.

- Maintain clean and well-groomed hair.

- Maintain proper personal hygiene.

- Wear clean, polished black formal shoes and black socks.

- Keep nails clean and trimmed.

- Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines.

- Do not wear unauthorized accessories or clothing while on duty.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum qualification: 10th pass preferred.

- Freshers can apply; prior QSR/restaurant/hospitality experience will be an advantage.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Customer-service-oriented approach.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
