GTM Intern

Prefer is building the intelligence layer for how brands show up in AI.

As people increasingly use ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other AI platforms to discover products and make decisions, brands need to understand how AI talks about them, where they appear, and how they can improve their visibility.

We’re looking for a GTM Intern to work closely with the founding team and help us figure out how Prefer can reach, engage and convert its earliest customers.

This is not a traditional internship where you’ll just execute predefined tasks.

You’ll think, experiment, learn and ship.

What you’ll work on:

- Researching and identifying potential customers
- Building prospect lists
- Running outbound experiments
- Writing and testing messaging
- Talking to prospects and understanding their problems
- Exploring new GTM and growth channels
- Researching markets, competitors and emerging trends
- Tracking experiments and turning learnings into repeatable playbooks
- Using AI tools to make GTM workflows faster and more effective

Who we’re looking for:

- Extremely curious and eager to learn




- Strong written and verbal communication
- Bias toward action
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Quick learner who applies what they learn
- Interested in startups, AI, marketing, sales or growth
- Comfortable experimenting and measuring what works
- Not afraid to reach out to strangers and start conversations
