GTM Engineer

Scooter is hiring GTM Engineers on behalf of high-growth AI software companies.

We’re looking for a small number of technically robust GTM operators who can do more than run outbound campaigns. You’ll build the systems behind modern sales — finding the right accounts, identifying buying signals, automating workflows, personalizing outreach, and continuously improving what converts into pipeline.

About the role

This is a GTM engineering role at the intersection of sales, data, automation, and growth .

You’ll own the infrastructure that turns a company’s ICP into a repeatable outbound engine — from sourcing and enrichment all the way to outreach, CRM, experimentation, and pipeline measurement.

You won’t just be asked to “send more emails.”

You’ll figure out who to target, why now, what to say, how to automate it, and what to change when it doesn’t work.

What you’ll do

- Build end-to-end outbound systems across prospecting → enrichment → sequencing → CRM → tracking .
- Find and operationalize buying signals such as hiring activity, funding, company growth, technology changes, and other intent data.
- Build high-quality prospect databases by defining ICPs, target accounts, segments, and qualification criteria.
- Use automation, APIs, enrichment tools, and data workflows to make outbound faster and more scalable.
- Create and optimize multi-channel campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Experiment constantly with targeting, messaging, channels, personalization, and sequencing .
- Monitor the numbers that matter — replies, meetings, conversion rates, pipeline, and revenue.




- Work closely with sales and leadership to turn what you learn from the market into better GTM systems.
- Build processes that can scale instead of relying on manual campaign-by-campaign execution.

You might be a great fit if you:

- Have 2–7 years of experience in GTM, sales ops, growth, RevOps, outbound, or a similar role.
- Have built outbound or growth systems rather than simply executed campaigns.
- Are comfortable with no-code/low-code automation tools such as Zapier or Make.
- Have worked with prospecting, enrichment, scraping, APIs, or data workflows.
- Understand tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Semrush, intent-data platforms, CRMs, and sequencing tools .
- Enjoy figuring out how systems work and finding ways to automate them.
- Are highly analytical and naturally think in terms of experiments, conversion rates, and funnels.
- Can operate independently in an early-stage environment where you’ll often have to build the process yourself.

This role is NOT for you if

- You’re looking for a traditional SDR role focused primarily on sending outreach.
- You don't enjoy working with data, automation, or technical tools.
- You prefer executing someone else’s GTM playbook rather than building one.
- You don't like experimenting, measuring results, and iterating quickly.
