Job Title: Guest Service Associate (GSA) – Canteen Operations

Location: Navi Mumbai International Airport

Department: F&B; / Operations

Reports To: F&B; Supervisor / F&B; Manager

Gross Salary: ₹17,000 per month

Job Summary The Guest Service Associate (GSA) – Canteen Operations will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the airport canteen, including customer service, cash counter handling, buffet food serving, cleanliness, and coordination with the Production/Kitchen team for timely buffet setup and replenishment.

The candidate should be responsible, disciplined, well-groomed, and capable of working in a fast-paced airport canteen environment while maintaining hygiene, food safety, and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle the cash counter and manage daily cash transactions accurately.
- Issue bills/tokens and maintain proper records of cash collections as per company procedures.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a professional, hygienic, and courteous manner.
- Coordinate with the Production/Kitchen team for timely preparation and setup of buffet counters.
- Ensure the buffet is properly arranged and ready before the designated meal/service time.
- Coordinate with the Production/Kitchen team for timely replenishment of buffet food during service.
- Monitor buffet counters and ensure adequate food availability throughout service hours.
- Maintain proper portion control and food presentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the cash counter, serving counters, tables, and dining area.
- Follow all applicable FSSAI, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Assist customers with basic queries and handle customer concerns politely.




- Ensure timely clearing of tables and maintaining cleanliness during peak hours.
- Monitor service requirements and immediately inform the Supervisor in case of shortages or operational issues.
- Follow all airport security, safety, and operational guidelines strictly.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, grooming, and professional conduct at all times.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Canteen Supervisor / F&B; Manager.

Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 10th / 12th pass.
- Prior experience in cash counter handling and food service will be an added advantage.
- Positive communication skills in Hindi and basic English preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cash handling, billing, and customer service.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Well-groomed, disciplined, responsible, and customer-oriented.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with the Production/Kitchen team.
- Ability to work for long hours while standing.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced canteen environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Should be willing to follow airport security and operational requirements.

Compensation Fixed Gross Salary: ₹17,000 per month

Preferred Candidate Profile A responsible and disciplined candidate with prior experience in canteen/F&B; operations, who can independently manage the cash counter, efficiently handle buffet food serving, and coordinate with the Production/Kitchen team for buffet setup and replenishment.
