Overview





We are looking for a Group Head – Commerce to provide senior leadership to the Commerce function and drive the overall commerce agenda across clients. The individual will be responsible for developing the agency's commerce proposition, providing senior strategic counsel to clients, building scalable commerce solutions and ensuring that the commerce team delivers measurable business outcomes.

This is a senior leadership role requiring a strong combination of commerce expertise, strategic thinking, client leadership, marketplace knowledge and business acumen.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Own the overall commerce strategy and direction for the agency/function.
- Act as senior commerce advisor to key clients and senior client stakeholders.
- Develop integrated commerce strategies across marketplaces, D2C and emerging commerce channels.
- Identify new commerce opportunities and develop solutions that can generate incremental revenue for clients.
- Build and strengthen relationships with marketplace platforms and ecosystem partners.
- Lead strategic commerce pitches and participate in major new business opportunities.
- Work closely with Performance, Digital, Integrated and Traditional teams to create integrated growth solutions.
- Develop frameworks, processes and best practices for the Commerce practice.
- Build, mentor and manage the commerce planning team.
- Drive innovation in commerce, marketplace media, retail media and emerging commerce platforms.
- Ensure commerce recommendations are linked to business KPIs such as revenue, profitability, market share, customer acquisition and customer lifetime value.
- Support senior leadership in developing the agency's commerce proposition and go-to-market strategy.
