Silex Softwares is hiring a Junior Graphic Designer & Video Editor in Ambala to join our in-house creative team. If you know Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Premiere Pro (or CapCut) — and you have a portfolio with even 3 strong pieces — we'd love to see your work.

What You'll Do – Graphic Designer & Video Editor Responsibilities As a Graphic Designer & Video Editor at Silex, you'll work across a mix of design and video projects:

- Design social media creatives: Build scroll-stopping posts, carousels, and ad creatives for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Edit short-form videos: Produce Reels, YouTube Shorts, product demos, and testimonial edits in Premiere Pro or CapCut.
- Create marketing assets: Design digital banners, email graphics, landing-page visuals, and occasional print collateral.
- Support branding projects: Help build logos, brand templates, and presentation decks (with guidance from a senior designer).
- Add basic motion: Simple animations, kinetic typography, and entry-level After Effects work — we'll train you if you're current to it.
- Work in Figma: Maintain and refresh design templates for our website and product pages.
- Collaborate: Partner closely with marketing, content,



and product teams to turn briefs into finished work.
- Maintain brand consistency: Keep every design and video aligned with our brand guidelines.
- Keep learning: Stay current with design and video trends, tools, and techniques.

Experience

- 0–2 years of hands-on experience in graphic design and/or video editing (internships and personal projects count).
- Working proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with InDesign is a plus.
- Comfort with Figma and Premiere Pro (or similar video editing software).
- A basic understanding of UI/UX and user-centered design principles.
- Knowledge of typography, color theory, composition, and layout.
- Some experience creating content for social media or digital marketing (course/personal work is fine).
- A creative eye, attention to detail, and a sense for visual storytelling.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Digital Media, or a related field — or an equivalent portfolio that speaks for itself.
- A portfolio of 3–8 pieces showcasing your design and/or video work (Behance, Dribbble, Google Drive, or a personal site).
- Ability to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills in English and Hindi.
- A genuine passion for design, video, and continuous learning.
