We are looking for an experienced GPS Tracking Officer to monitor and coordinate company fleet operations through GPS tracking systems. The candidate will be responsible for real-time vehicle monitoring, route planning, tracking vehicle movement, and ensuring timely and effective fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor company vehicles through GPS tracking systems on a real-time basis.
- Track vehicle movement, route deviations, stoppages, delays, and overspeeding.
- Plan and monitor vehicle routes for efficient fleet utilization.
- Coordinate with drivers regarding routes, delays, breakdowns, and other operational issues.
- Monitor vehicle arrival, departure, and delivery status.
- Identify and report unauthorized stoppages and route deviations.
- Prepare daily GPS tracking, vehicle movement, and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with the Logistics/Fleet team for trip planning and vehicle deployment.
- Analyze GPS data to improve route efficiency and reduce unnecessary vehicle running.
- Escalate critical vehicle or driver-related issues to the reporting manager.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in GPS Tracking and Fleet Monitoring.
- Good knowledge of Route Planning and Route Optimization.
- Experience in commercial vehicle/fleet operations.
- Good knowledge of GPS tracking software.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
Candidate Profile
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in GPS tracking, fleet management, logistics, or transport operations.
- Graduate preferred.
- Candidates with experience handling commercial vehicle tracking and route monitoring will be preferred.
