We are looking for a skilled Glass Worker responsible for glass measurement, cutting, processing, finishing, and installation as per production requirements and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and mark glass accurately as per drawings and specifications.
- Cut and process glass using appropriate tools and machines.
- Perform edge polishing, drilling, grooving, and other required glass processing activities.
- Handle different types of glass safely during processing and movement.
- Check glass dimensions, finish, and quality before dispatch to the next process.
- Assemble and fit glass shutters/components as per production requirements.
- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain proper handling and storage of glass to prevent damage and breakage.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S in the work area.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of glass cutting and processing.
- Ability to read measurements and basic drawings.
- Positive hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of glass handling and safety practices.
- Ability to work as part of a production team.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / 10th / 12th preferred.
- Relevant experience in glass work will be an advantage.
Preferred Experience Experience in modular furniture, modular kitchen, wardrobe, glass shutter, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
