We are looking for a skilled DevOps Automation Engineer to lead the administration, scaling, and optimization of our enterprise developer platforms. In this role, you will empower our engineering teams by managing our GitHub Enterprise ecosystem, maintaining secure and scalable CI/CD runners, and streamlining infrastructure automation through Ansible and Python.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Administration: Administer GitHub Enterprise, managing user access, organizational settings, security policies, and integrations.
- Runner Management: Provision, monitor, and scale self-hosted GitHub Actions runners (Linux/Windows) to ensure high availability and optimal CI/CD performance.
- Automation & Configuration: Write and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management and infrastructure consistency.
- Scripting & Tooling: Develop custom automation scripts and integrations using Python to streamline developer workflows and internal processes.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5-8 years in DevOps, platform engineering, or systems administration.
- Core Platforms: Hands-on experience administering GitHub Enterprise at scale.
- CI/CD Infrastructure: Proven track record of configuring and managing GitHub Actions self-hosted runners.
- Automation Stack: Robust proficiency in Ansible for configuration management and Python for scripting and API integrations.
- Environment: Solid working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and Git workflows.
