Hirely is recruiting on behalf of one of our hiring partners for a remote GitHub Contributor opportunity supporting AI training and evaluation projects. You’ll use your software engineering expertise to create realistic environments that test AI models on complex development tasks.
What You’ll Do:
- You’ll work on bug fixing, feature development, codebase refactoring, and performance optimization , while creating reproducible environments and golden reference solutions for AI evaluation.
- You’ll also document your technical reasoning and review code and technical submissions for quality and accuracy.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Ideal candidates have robust experience with Python, Java, C++, Go, Rust, or TypeScript , along with solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, debugging, and software engineering practices.
- A clear GitHub or GitLab profile with meaningful open-source contributions is required ,
preferably demonstrating substantial development work.
Compensation & Commitment:
- $50-$150/hour
- Approximately 15 hours/week
- Fully remote
- Flexible schedule
- Independent contractor
