Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

Manage and supervise a team of production operators and support staff during a given shift.

Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and initiate maintenance requests as needed.

Maintain accurate production records, inventory levels, and shift reports.

Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.

Troubleshoot operational issues and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with other shift executives, department heads, and support functions to optimize overall plant performance.

Enforce company policies and procedures, including health, safety,



and environmental regulations.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing waste.

Job Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Chemical) or a related technical field.

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the FMCG sector.

Proven experience in supervising and leading a team in a shift-based operation.

Robust understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.

Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Willingness to work in rotating shifts (day, evening, night) as per operational requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
