Role Description This full-time on-site role for a General Practitioner (MBBS) – Telemedicine is based in Chandigarh, India. The clinician will conduct video and telephonic consultations, take comprehensive medical histories, perform remote examinations where feasible, and provide evidence-based primary care and family medicine services. Day-to-day work includes reviewing clinical data, labs, and biomarker information, collaborating with Flahy’s clinical intelligence tools to refine diagnoses and treatment plans, and documenting encounters in electronic medical records with high accuracy.
The practitioner will offer follow-up care, counsel patients and families on disease management and prevention,
coordinate with nursing and other care team members, and escalate complex cases according to established protocols. The role also involves participating in ongoing clinical training, contributing feedback on telemedicine workflows, and maintaining strict adherence to clinical guidelines, data privacy, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Clinical care skills in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad range of common acute and chronic conditions via telemedicine.
- Experience or interest in Family Medicine, including longitudinal care and preventive health across age groups.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing and other allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
- Capacity to provide Training and patient education, including clear communication about diagnoses, treatments, and self-care.
- Recognized MBBS degree from an accredited institution and valid medical registration/license in India.
- Prior experience in telemedicine or outpatient clinical practice is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working with digital health platforms, electronic medical records, and data-driven clinical tools.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail in clinical documentation, and commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work on-site in Chandigarh, India, with flexibility to manage scheduled teleconsultation slots.
