Role & responsibilities

- Lead complete plant operations, ensuring uninterrupted production, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to planned output.

- Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce bottlenecks, and improve overall equipment efficiency.

- Oversee workforce management including labour handling and team capability development.

- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, sustainability metrices & environmental norms, and statutory regulations applicable to industrial paint manufacturing.

- Maintain robust quality control systems ensuring all batches meet specification and customer standards.

- Liaise effectively with government bodies and regulatory agencies for audits, inspections, and statutory approvals.

- Implement and monitor cost-efficiency measures across materials, processes, and manpower deployment.

- Track plant KPIs,



conduct performance reviews, and present operational insights to senior leadership.

- Champion continuous improvement methodologies to elevate plant performance and operational reliability.

Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum 20 years of experience in industrial paint or chemical manufacturing, with proven leadership in plant operations.

- Demonstrated expertise in managing factory labour, unions, compliance matters, and government interactions.

- Solid background in safety management, Sustainability principles, production planning, quality control, and statutory compliance.

- Experience implementing productivity enhancement and cost-optimization initiatives.
