Role & responsibilities

Position Overview The General Manager Finance will be responsible for leading the organization's finance and accounts function by driving financial strategy, budgeting, reporting, compliance, risk management, and project finance. The role requires extensive experience in the construction/real estate sector with strong expertise in project costing, fund management, banking relationships, taxation, and statutory compliance.

The incumbent will work closely with the senior management team to ensure financial discipline, operational efficiency, profitability, and sustainable business growth.

Preferred candidate profile

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
- Robust experience in the construction and/or real estate industry.
- Sound knowledge of Ind AS 115 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers) and Accounting Standard (AS) 7.
- Experience in handling large project financing (100 Crore and above preferred).
