GCP Data Engineer - Chennai

Required Technical Skills Strong expertise in Google BigQuery for data warehousing, performance tuning, partitioning, clustering, query optimization, and cost optimization. Hands-on experience with Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow) for designing, scheduling, and monitoring complex data pipelines. Strong programming skills in Python, including writing production-grade code, reusable modules, and automated data processing frameworks.

Experience developing and deploying Google Cloud Functions and integrating them with GCP services. Positive knowledge of Cloud Storage (GCS), Pub/Sub, Cloud Scheduler, Secret Manager, IAM, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring.

Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP-native services. Strong SQL skills with experience handling large-scale datasets in BigQuery.

Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, CSV, Parquet, and Avro data formats. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
