About the Role

Image Furnishers is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Furniture Designer with strong 2D & 3D designing skills. The ideal candidate should be able to understand project requirements, develop accurate furniture designs, prepare detailed drawings, and coordinate with the team to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.

We are looking for candidates with hands-on furniture design experience and a strong portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Create detailed 2D and 3D furniture designs.
- Prepare furniture drawings with accurate dimensions and detailing.
- Develop aesthetically appealing and technically feasible designs.
- Understand furniture materials, finishes, hardware, construction and dimensions.
- Take and interpret on-site measurements when required.
- Prepare production-ready furniture designs.
- Coordinate with production, project and design teams.
- Make design modifications and revisions as required.
- Ensure accuracy across drawings and 3D models.
- Resolve design and detailing issues before production.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D furniture designing.
- Positive understanding of furniture dimensions and ergonomics.
- Knowledge of furniture materials, finishes, hardware and construction.
- Ability to read and prepare technical drawings.
- Good understanding of site measurements.




- Strong attention to detail and design sense.
- Practical understanding of furniture execution and production.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.

Software Skills

- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- 3ds Max
- V-Ray / Corona
- SolidWorks or other relevant furniture design software

Candidates should mention the software they are proficient in while applying.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2+ years of relevant furniture designing experience.
- Experience in furniture, modular furniture, custom furniture or interior design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous furniture design work.
- Good understanding of furniture manufacturing and detailing.
- Ability to understand project requirements and deliver practical designs.

Shortlisting Criteria

Candidates will be shortlisted based on relevant experience, 2D & 3D design skills, software proficiency, portfolio quality, furniture detailing knowledge, material and construction knowledge, site measurement skills and ability to create production-ready designs.
