Analyze business and functional requirements to understand application behavior.
Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on requirements.Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and system testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools.
Perform defect retesting and regression testing after fixes.Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to resolve issues.
Validate application functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria.Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs from a testing perspective.Maintain test documentation,
execution reports, and defect reports.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation when required..
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Good knowledge of functional and non-functional testing concepts.
Experience in writing clear and effective test cases.
Strong defect reporting and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar.
Good understanding of SQL/database testing is preferred.
