- Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- On a day-to-day basis,



you will join a team responsible for developing and modernising a critical cloud-based platform supporting FTSE Russell's indexing and analytics business. Working as a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for delivering new features, maintaining existing applications, supporting production incidents, and driving key application modernisation initiatives.
- You will develop and support applications using C# .NET, Angular, SQL Server, RESTful APIs, and AWS cloud technologies, working across both backend and frontend components. A significant focus of the role will be upgrading legacy applications, migrating services to .NET 8, improving code quality, increasing unit test coverage, and helping modernise the existing technology estate.
- You will work closely with engineers and business stakeholders to build API endpoints, enhance microservices, troubleshoot production issues, perform code improvements, and support cloud transformation initiatives. The role will also involve supporting CI/CD processes, infrastructure automation, and the migration of existing applications towards more modern cloud-native architectures.
- Success in this role will come from being a strong hands-on developer who can quickly understand existing systems, work independently, contribute to technical discussions, and deliver high-quality code within an Agile environment.
