About the Role

We're looking for a Backend-Leaning Full-Stack Engineer who enjoys building scalable backend systems while contributing to frontend development when needed. You'll work on high-impact products, designing APIs, building reliable services, and solving engineering challenges alongside a collaborative team.

What You'll Be Working On

- Building scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Designing and maintaining REST APIs and system integrations.
- Creating efficient MongoDB data models that scale with the product.
- Contributing to frontend development using React.js and Next.js.




- Participating in system design discussions and making thoughtful technical decisions.
- Writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
- Monitoring applications using Grafana and Graphite to ensure reliability.
- Collaborating with engineers through code reviews and technical discussions to deliver high-quality software.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong backend focus.
- Solid expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases and data modeling.
- Working knowledge of React.js, Next.js, and JavaScript.
- Good understanding of system design, microservices, scalability, and distributed systems.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Someone who takes ownership, values clean code, and enjoys collaborating with others.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within 15 days will be highly preferred.

Nice to Have

- Experience with TypeScript, TanStack Query, or Next.js.
- Exposure to Kafka, event-driven architecture, or message queues.
- Experience building products or platforms from the ground up.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, or cloud platforms.
