Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Freight Forwarding Documentation professional. The role involves preparing and verifying export and freight forwarding documentation, including invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, and other transport-related paperwork. The team member will coordinate with internal departments, carriers, and customers to ensure accurate and timely submission of documents in line with regulatory and client requirements.

Daily responsibilities include updating shipment records, monitoring cargo status, resolving documentation issues,



and supporting customer service with shipment-related information. The role also requires maintaining compliance with international trade regulations and company policies while contributing to efficient freight operations.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and forwarding processes, with the ability to manage documentation workflows.
- Experience in export procedures and documentation, including familiarity with international trade and customs requirements.
- Customer service skills for handling inquiries, coordinating with clients, and providing clear shipment updates.
- Understanding of freight transportation operations, including coordination with carriers and logistics partners.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and proficiency with MS Office and basic logistics software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
- Relevant experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding; a diploma or degree in logistics, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
