Role Description This full-time, on-site Freight Forwarding & CHA – Jr. Staff role is based in our Mumbai office. The role involves coordinating day-to-day forwarding and export activities, including preparing documentation, tracking shipments, and ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements. The Jr. Staff member will communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to arrange freight transportation, resolve basic shipment issues, and provide status updates.

Responsibilities include data entry in internal systems, maintaining accurate records, assisting with quotations, and supporting senior staff with operational tasks.



The role requires proactive follow-up, attention to detail, and a commitment to timely and accurate service delivery.

Qualifications

- Practical knowledge of forwarding and freight forwarding operations, with an understanding of international logistics processes.
- Experience or familiarity with export procedures, documentation, and basic customs requirements.
- Customer service skills focused on clear communication, responsiveness, and maintaining professional relationships.
- Understanding of freight transportation concepts, including modes of transport, routing, and shipment tracking.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple shipments and priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic data entry in logistics or ERP systems.
- Ability to work in office in Mumbai and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Educational background in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field; prior internship or junior experience in freight forwarding or CHA operations is an advantage.
