About FRL

FRL Fleet Relay Logistics LLC is a licensed freight brokerage (MC-1771512, USDOT 4484052) specializing in containerized drayage nationally, covering major seaports and rail ramps, with full truckload capability alongside it.

Authority, BMC-84 bond, and cargo and liability coverage are in place.

The Role

You sell. We run the freight.

This is a sales-only position. FRL holds the brokerage authority and the bond. You sell and manage accounts under that authority, and FRL operations handles carrier sourcing and vetting, dispatch, tracking, exceptions, invoicing, and collections.

What you will do

- Sell containerized drayage and full truckload capacity into your existing shipper relationships
- Prospect and open new accounts in your market
- Quote and win business at margins that work for both sides
- Submit loads to our automated order system by email
- Remain the commercial owner of your accounts while operations runs the day to day

What you will not do

- Source or vet carriers
- Dispatch, track, or manage exceptions
- Invoice or chase collections
- Pay for software

What You Need

- An existing, portable book of shipper relationships. This is a requirement.
- Freight sales experience. Drayage, intermodal, or containerized experience is a robust advantage. Strong truckload sellers with transferable relationships are welcome.




- A working understanding of how margin is made and lost on a container.
- Reliable connectivity, overlap with U.S. business hours sufficient to serve your accounts, and professional written and spoken English.

No degree or certification requirement.

Compensation

Commission split: Up to 60% of gross profit. Your split is set based on the size and quality of the book you bring and is agreed before you start.

Gross profit includes accessorials. Chassis, per diem, detention, storage, and every other line item on the invoice counts toward the profit your split is calculated on.

Uncapped. No ceiling, no quota gate, no tier to unlock.

Paid bi-weekly on collected invoices.

No base, draw, or guarantee . This is a commission-only contract.

No fees. No charge for the TMS, load boards, carrier vetting, insurance, email, or any other tool.

Credit FRL credit-approves every new customer and sets a credit limit before the first container moves. Approvals are handled by our team, not by you.

What You Own

- Your book is yours. Accounts you bring stay yours.
- No non-compete.
- If you are subject to a non-solicitation, non-compete, or similar restrictive covenant from a prior brokerage or employer, we will ask you about it and ask to review it during the interview process.

What We Expect From Each Other

You give us:

- Honest representation of FRL to every shipper and every carrier
- Accurate load information submitted on time. We ask for at least one day's notice on containers.
- Credit approval before booking a new customer
- Straight answers when something goes wrong

We give you:

- Commission paid weekly, on time, calculated as agreed
- No fees and no reserves
- Operations coverage on every load you sell
- Direct access to the principals

2. Roughly what volume your relationships represent
3. What is not working for you where you are now
