We are looking for an experienced Freight Broker to join our team in Delhi. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in freight brokerage, carrier sourcing, load booking, rate negotiation, and coordinating shipments from pickup to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Find and develop relationships with reliable carriers and transporters.
- Source and book freight loads.
- Negotiate freight rates with shippers and carriers.
- Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and shipment status.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers, customers, and transport partners.
- Track shipments and resolve transportation issues.
- Maintain accurate records of loads, rates, and carrier information.
- Identify new business opportunities and help grow the freight brokerage operation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in freight brokerage, transportation, or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of freight transportation and carrier operations.
- Experience negotiating rates with carriers/customers.
- Existing relationships with transporters or carriers will be an advantage.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments.
- Robust follow-up and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, truckload brokerage, carrier sales are strongly preferred.
