Role Description The Freelance Video Editor internship is a remote role focused on editing and assembling video content for social media, short films, and other digital projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing raw footage, selecting clips, creating rough and final cuts, and applying basic color correction and sound adjustments to ensure cohesive, polished deliverables.

The intern will collaborate with content creators and directors to interpret creative briefs, incorporate feedback, and maintain visual consistency across projects. Additional tasks may include creating simple motion graphics,



preparing assets for publishing, and staying informed about trends in digital video content and editing tools. This internship offers practical experience in a professional creative environment while working flexibly from a remote location.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and familiarity with Video Production workflows using industry-standard software.
- Ability to perform Video Color Grading and basic image adjustments to achieve consistent visual styles.
- Experience or interest in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple titles, lower thirds, and visual elements.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Creative mindset with a strong sense of visual storytelling and pacing for digital and social media formats.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate remotely with creative and production teams.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and video formats; prior experience in content creation is a plus.
- Relevant coursework or portfolio demonstrating video editing and motion graphics capabilities; access to suitable hardware and software for remote work.
