Role Description The Freight Broker is a full time, on-site role based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. This role involves sourcing and negotiating with carriers, securing competitive rates, and arranging transportation for client shipments.

The Freight

Broker will manage the full shipment lifecycle, including load planning, scheduling, tracking, and problem resolution to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with shippers and carriers, handling documentation, monitoring market conditions and capacity,



and communicating shipment updates to all stakeholders. The role also includes identifying new business opportunities, contributing to process improvements, and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality logistics solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong logistics and freight brokerage skills, including carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, and load coordination.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS), basic MS Office tools, and data entry for shipment documentation.
- Solid communication and relationship-building skills to work effectively with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Problem-solving and time-management abilities to handle multiple shipments, address issues, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of domestic freight markets, modes of transport, and general shipping regulations is preferred.
- Prior experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation operations is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site, maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing client needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
