Role Description Freelance Engineers at BlinkFix are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining ACs, TVs, refrigerators, geysers, washing machines, water purifiers, and CCTV systems for customers in the Greater Kolkata Area. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves visiting customer locations, performing detailed inspections, identifying faults, and implementing effective technical solutions.

Daily tasks include conducting routine checks, handling emergency service calls, advising customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance, and documenting work performed. Engineers are expected to collaborate with the support team, follow safety and quality standards,



manage tools and spare parts efficiently, and ensure punctual, professional service. The role requires consistent fieldwork, clear communication with customers, and a focus on delivering reliable, timely repairs.

Qualifications

- Strong Troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues across multiple appliances and systems.
- Knowledge of Broadcast Engineering, Broadcast Television, and Broadcasting for TV-related installations, signal issues, and system setup.
- Experience in Technical Support, including customer-facing service, issue escalation, and clear work documentation.
- Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining ACs, refrigerators, geysers, washing machines, water purifiers, and CCTV systems.
- Ability to work on-site across the Greater Kolkata Area, with reliable transportation and flexibility in scheduling.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and basic electronics; vocational or technical certification in electronics, electrical, or related field is preferred.
- Positive communication skills, professional conduct with customers, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience in field service, home appliance repair, or CCTV installation and maintenance is highly beneficial.
