About The Role

We are looking for a Freelance Content Writer to create explicit, engaging, and technically accurate content for an energy and renewable energy company. The ideal candidate should be able to simplify technical concepts around BESS, lithium-ion batteries, solar energy, energy storage, and power solutions for both technical and business audiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Write high-quality content for websites, blogs, LinkedIn, social media, newsletters, brochures, case studies, and marketing campaigns.
- Research and write about BESS, lithium-ion batteries, solar, renewable energy, energy storage, and C&I; energy solutions.
- Convert technical information into easy-to-understand, engaging content.
- Develop SEO-friendly blogs and website content based on keyword research and search intent.
- Create thought-leadership content around energy transition, clean energy, grid stability, energy efficiency, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with technical, marketing, and sales teams to understand products and customer use cases.
- Fact-check technical claims, statistics, and industry information before publishing.
- Adapt content tone for different audiences, including business leaders, energy professionals,



customers, and general readers.
- Stay updated on energy-storage technologies, renewable-energy trends, policies, and market developments.

Required Skills

- Excellent written English with strong grammar and storytelling ability.
- Strong research and content-development skills.
- Ability to understand and simplify technical subjects.
- Basic-to-strong understanding of SEO, keyword usage, and content optimization.
- Ability to write in a professional, credible, and brand-aligned tone.
- Strong attention to detail and fact-checking.
- Ability to work independently and meet freelance deadlines.

Preferred

- Prior experience writing for energy, renewable energy, BESS, solar, EV, battery, power electronics, or other technical industries.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Grammarly, or AI-assisted content tools.
- Portfolio demonstrating technical, B2B, or energy-sector content.
