About Pulpy Dive

Pulpy Dive – Your Clean Food Partner is building a new-age healthy food brand focused on making nutritious, fresh and delicious food accessible and convenient.

Our product portfolio includes fresh juices, rice bowls, wraps, sandwiches and other wholesome food options, with a strong focus on clean ingredients, freshness, convenience and nutrition.

We are now looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial Chief Chef who wants to come on board as a Co-Founder and take ownership of the culinary and food innovation function.

This is not a conventional chef position. We are looking for someone who wants to build a food brand from the ground up.

The Opportunity

As the Founding Chief Chef & Co-Founder, you will be responsible for building Pulpy Dive's culinary identity, product portfolio and food operations.

You will work closely with the founding team to transform the vision of Pulpy Dive into a scalable food business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build the Pulpy Dive Food Portfolio

- Develop innovative, healthy and delicious recipes across juices, rice bowls, wraps, sandwiches, snacks and future product categories.
- Create products that balance taste, nutrition, affordability and scalability.
- Develop signature products that can become Pulpy Dive's hero offerings.

2. Menu Innovation & R&D;

- Continuously research emerging food and consumer trends.
- Experiment with ingredients, flavours, cooking techniques and healthy alternatives.
- Develop seasonal and limited-edition products.
- Build a robust product pipeline for future expansion.

3. Standardisation & SOPs

- Develop detailed recipes, preparation methods and kitchen SOPs.
- Establish consistency in taste, portion size, presentation and quality.
- Create systems that allow products to be replicated across multiple outlets.

4. Costing & Commercialisation

- Develop recipe-level food costing.
- Work on portion control and yield optimisation.
- Help maintain target food costs without compromising product quality.




- Work with procurement teams to identify suitable ingredients and vendors.

5. Food Quality & Hygiene

- Establish and maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen practices.
- Develop quality-control processes for raw materials and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with applicable food safety standards.

6. Build the Culinary Team

- Recruit, train and mentor kitchen teams.
- Develop a strong culinary culture within the organisation.
- Create training modules for chefs and kitchen staff.

7. Scale the Kitchen & Operations

- Design kitchen processes that can work in cloud kitchens, retail outlets and future Pulpy Dive stores.
- Help build a scalable food production model.
- Support the expansion of Pulpy Dive across Delhi NCR and subsequently other cities.

As a Co-Founder, You Will Also Be Expected To
- Think like an entrepreneur, not just a chef.
- Participate in product, pricing and business decisions.
- Understand customer preferences and market trends.
- Work closely with the founders on business strategy.
- Represent Pulpy Dive at food events, collaborations and industry forums.
- Take ownership of the culinary P&L; and relevant operating metrics as the business scales.
- Build relationships with suppliers, culinary experts and potential partners.
- Contribute to creating a differentiated and defensible food brand.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who:

- Has strong culinary expertise and a passion for healthy, nutritious food.
- Has experience in QSR, restaurant, cloud kitchen, food startup or FMCG/F&B; product development.
- Has hands-on experience in recipe development and menu creation.
- Understands food costing, kitchen operations and standardisation.
- Is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial and rapidly changing environment.




- Has a strong understanding of Indian consumer tastes.
- Is passionate about experimentation and innovation.
- Wants to build something rather than simply take up a job.
- Is willing to take ownership, make decisions and be accountable for outcomes.

Equity-Based Co-Founder Opportunity

This is an equity-based founding role designed for an individual who genuinely wants to participate in building Pulpy Dive as a long-term venture.

The selected candidate will receive meaningful equity in the company, with the exact percentage, vesting schedule, responsibilities and other terms to be mutually agreed upon based on experience, contribution, commitment and role.
