About The Role
Qonfido is building an AI companion for money—helping people organise, understand, and grow their wealth with clarity and confidence.
As a Founder's Office Intern, you will sit at the centre of the company: close to strategy, product, data, and day-to-day execution. This is not a shadowing internship. You will own real workstreams, present recommendations to founders, and help turn ambiguity into decisions and decisions into shipped outcomes.
You will move across strategy setting, data analysis, product management support, AI optimisation, and operational follow-through—learning how a modern fintech startup actually runs.
If you are curious, structured, comfortable with AI tools, and energised by solving messy problems end to end, this role is for you.
What you'll own
Strategy &
- Problem Framing
- Help founders frame weekly and monthly priorities—what matters, why now, and what success looks like.
- Turn open-ended questions into crisp problem statements, options, and recommendation memos.
- Support competitive, market, and customer research that informs product and growth bets.
- Track strategic initiatives from idea → decision → owner → next milestone.
Data Analysis &
- Insights
- Pull, clean, and analyse product, growth, and operational data to answer founder questions quickly.
- Build lightweight dashboards, scorecards, and recurring insight notes (what changed, why it matters, what to do).
- Validate hypotheses with evidence—not vibes—and flag risks, anomalies, and opportunities early.
- Translate analysis into clear visuals and one-page briefs founders can act on.
Product Management Support
- Support discovery: user interviews,
feedback synthesis, journey mapping, and opportunity sizing.
- Help write PRDs, specs, acceptance criteria, and release checklists for priority initiatives.
- Coordinate across design, engineering, and go-to-market to keep scope, timelines, and dependencies visible.
- Run QA / dogfooding passes, document bugs/edge cases, and close the loop after launches.
AI Optimisation &
- Workflow Design
- Identify repetitive Founder Office and team workflows that AI can compress or improve.
- Design and document prompts, agents, and SOPs for research, writing, analysis, QA, and reporting.
- Experiment with tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Notion AI, spreadsheet copilots) and measure time saved / quality lift.
- Help the team adopt better AI habits—templates, evaluation checklists, and versioned workflows.
Operational Support
- Own follow-ups, meeting notes, action trackers, and decision logs so nothing important falls through.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects: timelines, owners, blockers, and weekly status updates.
- Support special projects spanning hiring ops, partner outreach, content briefs, or launch readiness as needed.
- Create durable systems (docs, trackers, checklists) that make the company faster after you leave each workstream.
What success looks like Within the first 6 months, you should be able to:
- Deliver founder-ready memos and analyses that lead to clear decisions.
- Own at least one end-to-end workstream from problem framing to measurable outcome.
- Ship useful AI workflows that reduce cycle time for recurring Founder Office tasks.
- Keep priorities, owners,
and next actions visible across the initiatives you support.
- Demonstrate strong judgment: escalate early, communicate crisply, and improve with feedback.
Who you are
- Final-year undergraduate / postgraduate student or recent graduate (any rigorous major; preference for business, economics, CS, design, or quantitative fields).
- Strong analytical and written communication skills—you can turn complexity into clarity.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic data analysis
- SQL / Python / BI tools are a plus.
- Hands-on with modern AI tools and eager to invent better ways of working.
- Structured operator: you track details, close loops, and hate dropped balls.
- High ownership and bias to action in ambiguous environments.
- Available full-time (or near full time) for 3–6 months; based anywhere in India (IST or a similar timezone).
Bonus points
- Prior internship in startups, consulting, product, analytics, or strategy.
- Personal projects, campus clubs, or research where you owned outcomes—not just tasks.
- Experience writing specs, running user interviews, or shipping a small product/feature.
- Fintech, consumer apps, or personal-finance curiosity.
- Design fluency (Figma/Canva) or light engineering fluency.
Why join us You will work directly with founders at an early-stage fintech building AI-native money products—rare exposure for an internship.
You will learn how strategy, product, data, and operations connect in practice, not in a textbook.
High performers will leave with a portfolio of real decisions influenced, workflows built, and outcomes shipped—and a strong path to a full-time conversation if there is mutual fit.
