Role Summary
We are looking for Forward Deployed Engineers at JL6A level with 3 to 5 years of software engineering experience to join a team building and deploying enterprise-grade AI agent solutions. This role will focus on developing Python services, integrating AWS Bedrock AgentCore capabilities, enabling agent onboarding and migration, and implementing secure API and platform integrations. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in Python, AWS infrastructure as code, CI/CD, REST APIs, and modern authentication protocols.
You will work across engineering, platform, and deployment activities to help move AI agents from development into scalable, validated production environments.
Job Title: Forward Deployed Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable Python services supporting enterprise AI agent use cases.
Build integrations with AWS Bedrock AgentCore and related agent platform capabilities.
Support agent Registry onboarding, configuration, and lifecycle management.
Implement and integrate Gateway capabilities for secure and reliable agent connectivity.
Configure and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CDK, and AWS CloudFormation.
Build and enhance automated deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and CI/CD best practices.
Develop REST API and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations.
Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
Support agent migration, testing, validation, and production-readiness activities.
Assist with Harness setup, deployment enablement, and onboarding automation.
Collaborate with platform, engineering, and delivery teams to troubleshoot integration and deployment issues.
Contribute to reusable automation, engineering standards, and operational documentation.
Mandatory Skills Required
3 to 5 years of software engineering experience.
Robust hands-on programming experience with Python.
Exposure to AWS Bedrock AgentCore and its integration patterns.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies, including: Terraform, AWS CDK and AWS CloudFormation
Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Experience designing, developing, or integrating REST APIs.
Understanding of or hands-on exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations.
Working knowledge of modern authentication and authorization standards: OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
Experience supporting cloud deployments, platform integrations, testing, and validation activities.
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with AWS Strands.
Knowledge of agent development frameworks such as:
LangChain
Semantic Kernel
Exposure to enterprise agent platforms and agent lifecycle management.
Experience integrating with Gemini Enterprise.
Knowledge of Amazon Neptune and/or Amazon OpenSearch.
Experience working in the Life Sciences domain.
Understanding of Life Sciences compliance and regulated delivery practices, including: Good Practice requirements (GxP)
Digital Systems Development Lifecycle (DSDLC)
Experience with Harness setup, configuration, or deployment automation.
