Role & responsibilities

- Develop and optimize formulations for tablets, capsules and other OSD products.

- Conduct pre-formulation studies and evaluate API/excipient compatibility.

- Select suitable excipients and establish formulation composition.

- Perform laboratory trials, optimization batches and comparative studies.

- Prepare and maintain formulation development protocols, reports and technical documents.

- Conduct trials for granulation, blending, compression, coating and encapsulation processes.

- Optimize critical process parameters and formulation variables.

- Support scale-up and technology transfer from R&D; to production.

- Participate in process optimization, troubleshooting and investigation of formulation/process-related issues.

- Evaluate physical and chemical properties of in-process and finished products.
