Role Description The Food & Beverage Service Faculty will deliver classroom and practical training in food and beverage service, restaurant operations, and related hospitality standards.

Responsibilities include planning and conducting lectures, demonstrations, and assessments; designing and updating course materials; and mentoring students on professional service techniques and customer interaction.



The faculty member will collaborate with colleagues to maintain academic quality, support industry-linked projects, and participate in institutional events, workshops, and examinations. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the IIHM campus in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Food Service and Food & Beverage knowledge, with practical experience in restaurant or hotel operations.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to train students in guest interaction and professional conduct.
- Candidates should possess fundamental Culinary Skills and an understanding of menu design, food presentation, and beverage pairing.
- Relevant academic qualification in Hospitality Management or Hotel Management (diploma or degree) is required; advanced or specialized certifications are an advantage.
- Prior teaching, training, or industry mentoring experience in hospitality is highly desirable.
- Ability to design lesson plans, assess student performance, and use basic digital tools for teaching and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and commitment to fostering an inclusive, learner-centered environment.
