Role & responsibilities

- Operate and monitor fire hydrant, sprinkler and firefighting systems.

- Inspect fire pumps, jockey pumps, hydrant valves, hose reels and fire tanks.

- Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance of firefighting equipment.

- Monitor fire pump room and ensure pumps are maintained in operational condition.

- Check water pressure, valves, pipelines and related equipment.

- Attend fire alarms and support emergency response procedures.

- Conduct fire pump testing and maintain inspection records.

- Report faults, leakages and equipment issues to the supervisor.

- Support fire drills and emergency preparedness activities.

- Follow fire safety procedures and site regulations.
